4 medium beets (approx. 1 lb)
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp maple syrup
salt & pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and peel beets. Slice 1/4 inch thick.
- Toss beet slices in olive oil, honey, and maple syrup.
- Place on baking sheet in a single layer.
- Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper & salt.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until fork tender.
Notes
- *Wear gloves when preparing beets and wipe down any surfaces quickly to avoid staining.
